Our precious mother, Judith Ann Bosworth Fredrickson, 77, of Rigby, Idaho, returned to the loving arms of her family on July 11, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, due to complications from a fall.
Judy was born August 18, 1933, in Ogden, Utah, to Arnold Wayne Bosworth and Gertrude Wilhelmine Henrietta Schuenman Bosworth. She grew up in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School. She also attended Weber State.
On August 6, 1956, she married Ernest Dean Fredrickson in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. Following their marriage they moved around the world while Dean served in the U. S. Navy for twenty years. As a wonderful, supportive, and faithful Navy wife, she loved every place she lived, touching the lives of many in every port of call. Their five children were born all over the world. Her life motto was “I’ll go where you want me to go, dear Lord.” Judy was a wife, mother, and homemaker, and also worked as a secretary, swim instructor, and taught many the art of cake decorating. Dean passed away July 26, 1998.
As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various capacities over the years, including Young Women President, Relief Society President, and Primary President.
Judy is survived by two daughters,
Trudi (Randy) Poole of Blackfoot, ID, and
Sheri (Mitch) Ratchford of Kennewick, WA;
three sons, David Fredrickson of Boise, ID,
Larry (Shelley) Fredrickson of St. George, UT, and
