Juanda Whisman passed peacefully October 10, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born in Irwin, Idaho June 23, 1916, to Edward and Dora Daniels. After living in California, West Virginia, and Mississippi she and her husband Frank retired to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxillary and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and spending time with her family.
Juanda is survived by her son, Frank (Elaine) Whisman of Corbin, KY; son, Daniel Whisman of Corbin, KY; son, Michael (Nina) Whisman of Irwin, Idaho; daughter, Dora Whisman of Atlanta, GA;
grandchildren, Jason Whisman, Elliot Whisman, Douglas Whisman, Katherine Whisman, Elizabeth Whisman, Lorena Saedi, and Tonya Saedi; great-grandchildren, Aidan Cisneros, Kellan Cisneros, Lily Whisman, Piper Whisman, and Lane Whisman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Whisman, parents, sisters, Lula Daniels Thatcher and Eda Daniels Clark.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Swan Valley Cemetery.
