Joyce Trejo

Joyce Beverly Colby Trejo, 65, of Iona, passed away September 28, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Joyce was born August 3, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Isaac Radford Colby and Erma Jean Hines Colby. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls attending Whittier, now called A.H. Bush, and Central High School.

On August 18, 1995, she married Roberto Trejo-Guzman. Joyce and Roberto made their home in Idaho Falls where they owned and operated a business together.

Joyce was a Christian and a very spiritual person. She enjoyed crochet, her family, and buying her new home.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Roberto Trejo of Iona, ID; daughter, Cleo Cruz of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Frank Cruz of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Nick Cruz of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Mike Leal of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Arthur Southwick of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Roberto Antonio Trejo; brother, Isaac (Ann) Colby of Meridian, ID; 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Jerry and Delbert Colby.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. all times at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery.
