Joyce Stultz

Joyce Carleen Stultz, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 11, 2017, at her home. Joyce was born August 4, 1950, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, to George Barber Stultz and Virginia Holdford Stultz. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. She then attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, and later Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she earned a Master’s Degree. On August 17, 1974, she married David Shutts in Manti, Utah. To this union was born a son, Paul. Joyce and David made their home in Provo, Utah. They were later divorced. Joyce enjoyed sewing, designing, art, quilting and poetry. Joyce is survived by her son, Paul Nathan Shutts of Salt Lake City, UT, mother, Virginia Stultz of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Charlotte (Charles) Goodin of Logan, UT. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, George Kim Stultz. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the Iona Cemetery, 4950 East First Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho, with Bishop Joshua Hawkes officiating.
