Joyce Rossi

Carolyn Joyce Hansen Rossi, 73, of Rexburg, passed away February 5, 2019, at Rexburg Care and Rehabilitation Center. Joyce was born April 16, 1945, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ervin Francis Hansen and Zenetta Roberts Hansen. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On June 15, 1979, she married Robert Joe Rossi in the Idaho Falls Temple. Joyce and Robert made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Joyce worked as a cook, transporter, and janitor for Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Robert passed away on January 14, 1996. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point, reading and cross word puzzles. Joyce is survived by her loving sister, Nelda (Keith) Gardner of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Laren (Elaine) Hansen of Carey, ID; brother, Vernal (Margaret) Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Ervetta (Doyle) Herndon of Salt Lake City, UT; and brother, Keith Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Zenetta Hansen; and husband, Robert Joe Rossi. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2019, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
