JOYCE KEMP
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Joyce Carol Howard Kemp, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 14, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 6, 1931, in San Francisco, California, to Floyd Howard and Winnifred Emily Hobbs Howard. She grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated in 1949 from Sequoia High School.
On March 11, 1956, she married her high school sweetheart, John Lloyd Kemp, in Redwood City, California. In 1994, they moved to Idaho Falls. Joyce was a mother and homemaker and also worked for F.W. Woolworth and as a buyer for Fuller Paint Company. She later owned and operated an antique and collectible business. For two years, while her children were young, she served as PTA President at their elementary school.
Joyce enjoyed antiquing, visiting shops, taking road trips, arts and crafts, and gardening. She especially loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Daughter: Debbie Lynn Moore, Las Vegas, NV
Daughter: Cheryl Diane Insco, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Mark Lawrence Kemp, Idaho Falls, ID
3 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Lee Howard; a sister, Gail Lee McClure; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Lindsay Moore.
Memorial Services will be at a later date this summer.
