To My Beautiful Son
“God looked around His garden,
and He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth,
and saw Josh’s loving face.
He put his arms around him,
and lifted him to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He saw that the road was getting tough.
The hills were hard to climb.
So He closed Josh’s weary eyes,
and whispered “Peace be Thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose him,
But he didn’t go alone,
for part of us went with him,
The day God called him home.”
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday for one hour prior to the services, both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Josh was such a great kid. I went to elementary school with him at Hawthorne and enjoyed our many "football games". My prayers are with you and am deeply sorry for your loss.

Debbie and Bernie, Our deepest heartfelt thoughts are with you at this time. We have so many wonderful memories of Josh and Mike growing up together. Bathing the kitties, remember Debbie? (Maybe not so wonderful). May you feel the Lord's arms around you now and forever. You are dear friends and were wonderful neighbors.
Our love to Taylor, too.

In 2001 I spend 6 month in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
During that time I met Josh. He was a friend of a friend who I met thru my aunt and uncle. So one day Ben took me to visit Josh at his house. I have fond memories of Josh and my time in Idaho.
