Joshua Kirchner

Joshua Dale Kirchner, 25, passed away suddenly on June 15, 2025.

Josh was born November 30, 1999, to Standley W. Kirchner and Cheryl Armstrong Kirchner. He was born into a family of four girls who love and adore him, and welcomed a little brother 18 months later. He attended Bonneville High School where he played football.

He was a loving father to his sons, J.J. (4) and OB (2). Josh loved fishing with his father and spent his last day sharing the tradition with his sons. Josh enjoyed music, and even though he wasn’t a very good singer, he was a great rapper. He would tinker as a mechanic with his dad as well as working on his subs. You ALWAYS knew when he was coming down the road.

Joshua leaves to grieve his parents, Standley and Cheryl Kirchner of Idaho Falls, ID. Alexis Estrada, the mother of his sons, Joshua Dale Jr., Obadiah. His girlfriend, Sadie Exler; sisters, Niccole (Dylan) Empey of Idaho Falls, ID, Ashley (Bryan Searle) Kirchner of Rigby, Chelsae (Logan Muller) Carmickle of Florida, and Vicky McCulloch of Idaho Falls; brother, Jordon Kirchner of Idaho Falls, ID; Papa, W. Dale Armstrong; and loved by so many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his Granny, Esther Lue Armstrong, and grandparents, Standley Sr. and Marie Kirchner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will take place in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery following the services.
