Joshua "Mowgley" Brown

Joshua Wayne “Mowgley” Brown, 41, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 30, 2022, at his home.

Mowgley was born February 2, 1980, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Kenneth Brown and Cindy Bowen Brown.  He grew up and attended schools in Ririe and Rexburg.

On May 2, 2009, he married Lida Rodriguez in Ririe. They were blessed with three daughters, Kate, Hailey, and Lilliana. Mowgley and Lida made their home in Ririe where Mowgley worked in construction.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, mudding, dutch oven cooking, going for drives, bowling, golfing, and dancing with his wife in the kitchen, and he especially loved dancing with his girls. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons, they were the world to him.

Mowgley is survived by his wife, Lida Brown of Shelley, ID; father, Kenneth Brown of Ririe, ID; daughters, Kate (Collin) Atchley of Shelley, ID, Hailey Rodriguez of Shelley, ID, and Lilliana Rodriguez of Idaho Falls, ID; grandparents, Robert and Annette Brown of Ririe, ID; and grandsons, Josiah and Isaiah.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Bowen Brown, and brother, Zach Brown.

A visitation will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
