Joseph Nishioka

JOSEPH NISHIOKA IDAHO FALLS, ID - Joseph Nishioka, 80, of Idaho Falls, died May 28, 2003, at the Idaho Falls Care Center. He was born October 1, 1922 in Ammon to Ichisuke Nishioka and Teruye Shiota Nishioka. He grew up and attended schools in the area. On April 10, 1948, he married Ruth Umeko Kataoka at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Idaho Falls. He was a farmer, carpenter, contractor and computer programmer. He was a member of the JACL, Jaycees, and YMCA. He was also a member of the Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and carpentry. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; Lewis Stoddard, Grayson Stoddard, Nicholas Rolison, Taylor Rolison, and Justin Overley Surviving are: Wife: Ruth Nishioka, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Dianne Nishioka, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Judy Nishioka (Patrick) Rolison, Meridian, ID Daughter: Shirley Chastain, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Betty (Jack) Tominaga Sister: Martha Inouye Sister: Jane Ogoshi Sister: Kaye (Gerry) Sullivan 5 Grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 7-9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Wood Funeral Home (273 N.
