VALENTINE III IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Joseph Hiram Valentine III, 58, of Idaho Falls, died April 5, 2002, at his home from a heart attack. He was born April 18, 1943 in Vancouver, Washington to Joseph Hiram Valentine, Jr. and Veronica Ann Scheer Valentine Ritchie. The family moved to the Idaho Falls area where he grew up and attended New Sweden Elementary, O. E. Bell Jr. High and Idaho Falls High School. On April 12, 1963 he married Gaynol Harris in Idaho Falls. He worked in timber and construction and was semi-retired at the time of his death. He enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, camping and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Wood officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Burial will be in Ashton-Pineview Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
