Joseph V. Estacio

Joseph “Joe” Vieira Estacio, 68, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away November 12, 2021, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Joe was born April 18, 1953, in Santa Cruz Das Flores, Azores, to Joseph Francisco Estacio and Helena Da Gloria Vieira Estacio. He grew up in Turlock, California, and attended schools in Hilmar, California.

On September 9, 1978, he married Lidia Iria Cardoso in Turlock, California. They made their home in New Plymouth, Idaho, where Joe owned and worked as a Dairyman. Joe and Lidia were later divorced.

He was a member of the Catholic Church. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, including his two granddaughters, Aundrea and Lillian.

Joe is survived by his previous wife of 24 years, Lidia I. Estacio of Ammon, ID; his loving children, Heidi Peterson of Menan, ID, and Joseph Johnathon Estacio of Ammon, ID; sister, Maria Celeste (Tony) Silva of Charlotte, SC, brother, Antonio Vieira Estacio of Charlotte, SC; and his two granddaughters, Aundrea and Lillian.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
