Jonathan Arturo Corona, 17, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 22, 2018, at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jonathan was born August 10, 2001, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Arturo Corona Carvajal and Elsa Corona Guerrero. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. He enjoyed listening to music, playing the piano, and stuffed animals. He loved going to school where he could be around all of his friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Jonathan is survived by his mother, Elsa Corona of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Arturo Corona Carvajal of Jalisco, Mexico; sister, Brenda Corona of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Jacquie Corona of Pocatello, ID; sister, Star Corona of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Hector (Laura Sandoval) Guerrero of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Luis Corona of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jordan Corona of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Arturo Emanuel Corona-Flores of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; grandmother, Carmen Campos-Fernandez of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; grandmother, Maria De Jesus Carvajal of San Luis Potosi, Mexico; grandfather, Felipe Corona-Flores of Mexico; step father, Arturo Rojo of Idaho Falls, ID. He was preceded in death by his brother, Luis Roberto Corona, and grandfather, Pablo Guerrero. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at the Mesa Branch, 2349 Virlow Street, with President Jared Taylor officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wood Funeral Home, P.O. Box 51434, Idaho Falls, ID 83402, to help defray funeral costs.
