Jolene Herndon

Jolene Herndon, 52, of Ammon, passed away December 25, 2017, at her home.

Jolene was born September 3, 1965, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Thomas Edward Herndon and Thelda Pearl Scott Herndon. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls including Idaho Falls High School.

Jolene made her home in Ammon where she worked in data entry and customer service.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

Jolene is survived by her son, Thomas (Shannon) Herndon of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Timothy (Mindy Boozer) Herndon of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Amanda (Kyle) Loveland of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Colleen (Fred) Olson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Carol Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, JoAnn Banister of Rigby, ID; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Norlan Herndon, and brother-in-law, Andy Nelson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017, at Ammon Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road prior to services at the cemetery.
