John C. Priest - 08/06/2001 John C. Priest - 08/06/2001 JOHN C. PRIEST SHELLEY, ID --- John Curtis Priest, 15, of Shelley, died August 4, 2001, at his home. He was born July 29, 1986, at Evanston, Wyoming, to Dell Ray Priest and Sandra Colleen Simmons Priest. Shortly after his birth the family moved to Kamas, Utah, where they lived for three years. They moved to Shelley 12 years ago and he attended schools in Shelley. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was involved in scouting and the Young Men's program. He enjoyed swimming, bicycling, and other outdoor activities. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2001, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines with Bishop Merrill Hanny of the Shelley LDS Taylor Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and for one hour prior to services on Thursday, both at Wood Funeral Home.
