JOHN MOON JR. IDAHO FALLS, ID -- John Donald Moon Jr., 54, of Salmon, passed away June 10, 2008, at his residence in Idaho Falls. He was born January 3, 1954, in Portland, Oregon, to John Donald Moon Sr. and Madeline Marie Hines Moon. He attended Clair E. Gale Jr. High and Idaho Falls High School. He married Gail Lynn Overman August 27, 1983 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where they raised their two children. He worked as a union painter at the INL and later retired to Salmon. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being with his family, and playing with his dog, Toto. Survivors include: Wife: Gail Lynn Moon, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Johnathon A. Moon, Salmon, ID Son: Michael R. Moon, Salmon, ID Brother: Tracy James (Debbie)Moon, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Vickie Lee (Virgil)Bradshaw, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Madeline Marie (Paul) Kenowski, Salmon, ID He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Steve Ray Moon and William Rufus “Billy” Moon; and a daughter, Heather Dawn Moon.
