John Linger

John Ora Linger, 36, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 10, 2016, at his home.

John was born November 21, 1979, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jay Cecil Linger and Diana Lynn Powell Linger. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School.

On August 25, 2006, he married Tiffany Keller in Basalt, Idaho. John and Tiffany were blessed with a little girl, Savannah. John and Tiffany made their home in Idaho Falls where John worked for The City of Idaho Falls.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. John adored his dog, Dixie Doodles. He loved making people laugh and spending time with his family. John was a great uncle and loved his nieces and nephews.

John is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany Linger of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Savannah Keller of Idaho Falls, ID; parents, Jay and Diana Linger of Roberts, ID; brother, Andy (Lyssa) Linger of St. Anthony, ID; and a brother, Michael (Marissa) Linger Idaho Falls, ID.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Audrey Linger, and Luetta and Earnest Powell, grandpa, Rod Butler and grandmother, Dorothy Schupp.

A gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016, at the Skyline Activity Center, 1575 North Skyline.
