Dear Mary Ann and Family ~
I'm going to miss our conversations and working with Jack in the Homebound Visitation Ministry. His empathy, compassion and love permeated his interactions to those unable to attend Mass. His natural disposition of humility, kindness and gentleness empowered others to easily approach him. To the men he ministered the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist as an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Communion, (especially Roger McAtee and Frank Pelazzio at Good Sam's) Jack brought Jesus in the form of the host, and in his eyes, hands, feet and heart. Jack blessed our ministry and our parish.
Words cannot express how deeply I feel for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless you and give you His abiding peace,
Renee

Hi Mary Ann and Lisa and family.
My prayers are with all of you. Words cannot express how I feel or how all of you must feel. Just know how much fun he gave to the world. I will miss his weekly calls, but we surely will continue to be in touch, Mary Ann. You both brightened my week-ends, with our sharing.
He surely was heard, by our Heavenly Father, when he told me that he wanted to go to meet his Maker, quickly and now, no more suffering for him. Just for his loved ones, who truly will miss him.
God had a master plan, when Thomas bought those air plane tickets for June 13-23, didn't he?
All our love,
Boots and Mary

I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you.
I wish I could have spent more time with Uncle Jack and got to know him better, but from what my mom tells me...he was a kind brother and a good man.
Tony Dungy (Indianapolis Colts Head Coach) lost his son last year and when at the funeral, a good friend asked him a question. He said. Tony, knowing your son accepted Jesus in his life and with all you know about Heaven, would you ask for your son back? Tony paused and thought about it, he took a deep breath and said No...No I wouldn't. He realized his son was in Heaven, a place we all hope to go one day. And now his son was there.
I know it is never easy to let go, but just remember Uncle Jack is with Jesus in a beautiful place called Heaven.
Sincerely,
Your Nephew

Dear Mary Ann,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in Spirit. I wish I could be there to be of some comfort, but since that is not possible, know that my brother Tom, is there in proxy for all of us who would like to be there but cannot.
Your tender loving care for Jack surely showed and I will try to follow your example.
I will remember Jack and his dry sense of humor. It was always a special Family Reunion when you and Jack attended! We will miss his jokes! But, most of all, we will miss his gentle spirit and how he spoke to everyone and listened with interest in what others had to say.
Love,
Pat

I just want to express my sympathy to the family of Jack Keating. I worked at the AmeriTel Inn many years ago and Jack would come in frequently to soak in the hot tub and stop by the front desk to tell us about his family. He was so grandfatherly, we all just adored him and loved hearing his stories. Although he would probably never remember us individually, he left an indelible impression on me with his friendship, easygoing nature, and smile.
