John Luther Hodges

John (Johnny) Luther Hodges III, 76, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away August 7, 2023, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, while on a trip.

Johnny was born May 9, 1947, in Richmond, Virginia, to John Luther Hodges Jr and June Leone (Blackmon) Hodges.

John attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Richmond.  He attended college at VCU. Growing up, he enjoyed tennis, bicycling, hiking, hunting and going to Virginia Beach to surf.  John later became a painter and enjoyed doing Faux Finish work.

He is survived by his sister, Janet Lynn (Hodges) Olive of Prescott Valley, AZ.
