John Lewis Hancock, Jr., 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 23, 2013, in Boise, Idaho.
He was born February 8, 1935, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to John L. Hancock, Sr. and Beulah Josephine McBride Hancock. Following his graduation from high school, he served as a private in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
John married Patricia Loy Myerly June 6, 1956, and together they had thre children, Tim, Jodi and Lisa. They later divorced. He married Barbara Hale and they later divorced.
On July 10, 1980, he married Deanna Quinn Hancock in Nome, Alaska. He worked as a site manager for the FAA in Nome, Alaska, and as an Electronics Technician for the US Government.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Hancock.
