JOHN B. DUBACH
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- John Benjamin Dubach, 79, of Idaho Falls, died February 14, 2003, at Portneuf Regional Medical Center in Pocatello.
He was born on August 30, 1923 at Soda Springs, Idaho to John James Dubach and Orpha Myrtle Stevens Dubach. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Soda Springs High School. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II as a Staff Sergeant. He was awarded both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was in the Flying Tigers and served two years in China.
On June 10, 1942, he married M. Orlene Storer in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He worked as a Pressman for over 25 years at the Post Register.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, traveling, carpentry, and especially being with his family.
Surviving are:Wife: Orlene Dubach, Ammon, IDSon: John Roger (Cheryl) Dubach, Nampa, IDDaughter: Mary Diane Steadham, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Terri Jean (Dennis) Pulsipher, Idaho Falls, ID3 Grandchildren; Todd Steadham, Kimberly Pulsipher, and Kevin Pulsipher and 3 Great Grandchildren, Dallas, Brynne and Brianna Hardwicke. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Avenue). The family will meet with friends on Monday from 7-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
