John W. Campbell - 10/09/2001 John W. Campbell - 10/09/2001 JOHN W. CAMPBELL IDAHO FALLS, ID -- John Wells Campbell, 84, of Idaho Falls, died October 9, 2001, at his home of natural causes. He was born September 1, 1917, at American Falls, to Charles Ray Campbell and Martha Jane Wells Campbell. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho. He married Loy Thompson September 20, 1940, at Blackfoot. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where he has been a farmer all his life. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed farming, fishing, pool, and tending his raspberries. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2001, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to the services on Saturday, both at Wood Funeral Home.
