John Bennard

John Edward Bennard, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 20, 2014, at his home. He was under the care of One Source Hospice. John was born June 23, 1948, in Brockton, Massachusetts, to John Edward Bennard and Cecelia Marise Brassard Bennard. He grew up and attended schools in Brockton. John served as a Sergeant in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a submarine welder. After the war he worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and as a welder. John has lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho, since 1988, where John worked as a dry wall finisher. He enjoyed golf and riding his Harley. John is survived by daughter, Kerriann Bennard of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Michelle Cheffon of Killderil, NC; mother, Cecelia Marise Bennard of Wyandotte, MI; brother, Donald Reed Bennard of Wyandotte, MI; sister, Carol Douton of Connecticut; sister, Gene Petersen of California; 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. No services will be held.
