JOHN BARRAGAN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- John Edward Barragan, 53, of Idaho Falls, died June 29, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 4, 1955, in San Diego, California, to Adolfo Barragan and Norma Jean George Barragan. He grew up in San Diego and attended James Madison High School there.
He finished high school while serving his country in the United States Army.
On September 12, 1981, he married Vickie L. Crow in Clairemont, California. They had 1 son; they were later divorced. As an adult, he lived in Providence, Rhode Island, Gadsen, Alabama, Zumbrota, Minnesota, and he made his home in Idaho Falls for the past 5 years. He worked as a government contractor.
John was a member of the Catholic Church. He was also a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed shooting, camping, foosball, cards, billiards, 4-wheeling, and spending time with his grandson Gabriel, as well as with his family and friends.

Sister: Laura (Keith) Garrick, Hastings, MN
1 Grandson.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Barragan.
Private family funeral services will be held at a later date through Wood Funeral Home.
