My thought and prayers are going out to you, Jo's family. Jo hired me at the workshop ALMOST a year ago. She was the best boss anyone could ask for! She kept everything confidential and was always there to lend a helping hand! This change has been very hard at the workshop! I loved JoEllen dearly!

My husband Al and I lived next door to JoEllen and Wayne at USU in the early 80's. Our sons Lil Al and Jerry played nearly every day with Melissa and Micheal. In fact Lil Al thought he might marry Melissa when they grew up!! In those years, as newly-weds, close friends were very important and we spent many evenings at the Jones kitchen table playing games and eating ice cream. I loved JoEllen and considered her a dear and beloved friend. I was so very sad to read of her passing in the newspaper today. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much she loved her children and I learned much about being a mom as I watched her care for them every day. I know she must have LOVED being a Grandma. She was truly in her element when she was with her kids! Melissa and Micheal, (William your mom was expecting you the last time I saw her)our prayers are with you. We will be thinking of you often. Love, Al and Laurie Burns, Logan, UT
