Joel Grover

Joel Franklin Grover, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 6, 2026, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Joel was born August 3, 1961, in Mesa, Arizona, to Herman Jack Grover and Olive Geniel Hale Grover. He grew up and attended schools in Mesa and graduated from Mesa High School.

On September 18, 1986, he married Bonnie Cleveland in Rexburg, Idaho. Joel and Bonnie made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they had four children, Shawn, Jason, Steven, and Krystal. Joel worked as a mechanic, and later worked as a manager for Maverik.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed basketball, baseball, football, being outdoors, fishing, and camping.

Joel is survived by his daughter, Krystal Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; son-in-law, Jason Anderson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Jason Grover of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Shawn Grover of California; daughter-in-law, Cheral Grover of California; grandchildren, Corey, Tamree, Shawnee, Phoenix, Jordyn, Jayden, Jamy, Shantell, Emery, Ava, Ashton, and Tracen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie Grover; and son, Steven Grover.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
