Joe Watson - 05/02/2002 Joe Watson - 05/02/2002 JOE WATSON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Joseph Emerson “Joe” Watson, 59, of Idaho Falls, died May 1, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes. He was born February 28, 1943, at Cascade, Idaho, to Willard James Watson and Fanny Bernice Frome Watson. The family moved to Idaho Falls when he was young and he grew up and attended schools here and in the Rigby area. He obtained his G.E.D. in 1982. He married Bernetta Marie Foster November 23, 1961, at Idaho Falls. He worked as a truck driver for Teamsters Local 983 from 1968 to 1990, and also was a carpenter apprentice. He was a long time member of the Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, yard work, home remodeling for family and friends, and was a self-taught expert mechanic. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2002, at the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery, with his nephew, Doug Watson, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Annis-Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
