Joe Martinez - 04/22/2003 Joe Martinez - 04/22/2003 JOE A. MARTINEZ ROBERTS, ID -- Joe Aldolfo Martinez, 74, of Roberts, died April 20, 2003, of injuries sustained in an accident near Swan Valley. He was born April 10, 1929, in Mora, New Mexico, to Jose Aldolfo Martinez and Bertha Sanchez Martinez in Mora, New Mexico. He attended schools in the New Mexico area. He moved to Robert 31 years ago. He married Mary Caludina Martinez July 20, 1957, in Rawlins Wyoming. He worked as a farmer and mechanic. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, carving and traveling. Surviving are:His Wife: Mary Martinez, RobertsDaughter: Rachel (Wayne) Galbraith, Ririe; Daughter: Dora Jimmenez, Denver, CO;Son: Gilbert N. Martinez, Roberts;Daughter: Laura M. Martinez, Rigby;Daughter: Cindy L. Martinez, Rigby; Brother: Mike Martinez, Rawlins, WY;Brother: Gilbert (Katie) Martinez, Houghson, CA;Sister: Flora (William) Gonzales, Rawlins, WY;18 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Robert Martinez, a daughter, Bertha Martinez, a sister, Eva Cordova, and a brother, George Martinez. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 25, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Saint Anthony Mission in Roberts with Father Bill Crowley officiating. Vigil Prayer Services will be Thursday, at 7 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends following the Vigil until 8:30 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to services at the Saint Anthony Mission. Burial will be at the Market Lake Cemetery in Roberts under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW OUR PRAYS AND LOVE ARE WITH YOU.
