Joe Hart

JOE HART IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Joe Franklin Hart, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 7, 2008 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Joe was born June 5, 1923, in Omaha, Nebraska to Franklin Harold Hart and Rose Schael Hart. He attended schools in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Central High School on his 19th birthday, June 5, 1942. On May 11, 1958, Joe married the love of his life, Verla L. Lloyd. When he married Verla, he inherited a ready made family -- 2 beautiful daughters, Shirlene and Judy. Joe was a devoted husband for 47 years. Joe's chosen profession was a salesman. Most of his career was spent at R. M. Wade Rain Irrigation Equipment out of Portland, Oregon. Joe was the top salesman there for years. He was given many awards honoring his sales accomplishments. In the early 60's, Joe was a partner at Farmers Pump and Supply in Idaho Falls. The later years of his career were spent at Architectural Building Supply, also in Idaho Falls. Joe was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many positions in the church. Joe's great joy in life was his family. Next to his family, it was his dogs, Tammy, and in the last few years his constant companion, Sterling. Joe's interests included golf, traveling in the motor home and wintering in Arizona. Survivors include daughters, Shirlene (Arlen) Beall and Judy Morgan, both of Idaho Falls; six grandchildren, Debbie (Ervin) Blumhorst, Trudy (Joe) Fife, Matt (Lynne) Morgan, Kayla (Clint) John, Joni (Josh) Manwaring, and Amy (Darren) Rhoades, 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Verla, and his parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2008, at the Idaho Falls LDS 28th Ward (1165 Azalea Drive) with Bishop Roger Olsen officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. ---------------------------------------------
