JODY V. FARMER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jody Val Farmer, 45, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died October 3, 2001, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
He was born October 26, 1956, at American falls, Idaho, to Bonnie Faye Larson Farmer and Harold Eugene Farmer. He grew up in the Rigby area and then moved to Idaho Falls.
He married Kerri Merrill and they had a son, Josh. They were later divorced. He worked for many years as a carpenter.
He received a kidney transplant while a young man. He had lived and worked in Boise until recently, when he moved back to Idaho Falls. He enjoyed swimming, skiing, camping, and fishing with his friends. Jody raised and loved a little dog named Oggie that was always by his side.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Melanie Farmer, and Grandparents, Arlo Farmer, Bessie Cox, and Violet Barney.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2001, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Bishop Grand Leavitt of the Idaho Falls LDS Grandview Ward officiating.
The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services on Saturday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
