JoAnn Scholes - 11/29/2002 JoAnn Scholes - 11/29/2002 JOANN SCHOLES QUEEN CREEK, AZ -- JoAnn Burtenshaw Scholes, 67, of Queen Creek, Arizona, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2002 in Mesa, Arizona. She was a homemaker, nurses Aide and nursery leader and was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Survivors include her loving husband, John D. Scholes; children, Greg and Lydia Scholes of Sierra Vista, AZ, Mike and Tammie Scholes of Idaho Falls, ID, Julie Gordon of Reno, NV, Brad and Susan Scholes of Idaho Falls, ID, Jolyn Scholes of Livermore, CA, Bruce and Brenda Scholes of Idaho Falls, ID and Paul and Chandra Scholes of Pea Ridge, AR; 24 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Cox of Rigby, ID; brothers, Duane Burtenshaw of Apache Junction, AZ, and Jerry Burtenshaw of Rigby, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Harris and Lottie Marie Burtenshaw; sisters, Marie Scholtz, Betty Cooper; and grandson, Neal Scholes. Services were held Monday, November 25, 2002, in Apache Junction, AZ. Additional Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at the Idaho Falls LDS 21st Ward (1155 East 1st Street). The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
