Joan Fitch - 12/03/2002 Joan Fitch - 12/03/2002 JOAN FITCH IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Joan Louise Fitch, 67, of Idaho Falls, died December 2, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born October 8, 1935, at Kenton, Ohio, to Marguerite Ellen Lawrence. She was raised by her mother and father, Dorsel Webster. She grew up and attended schools in Grand Rapids, Ohio. She married Gail R. Fitch July 18, 1952, in Grand Rapids, Ohio. They later moved to Idaho Falls, where she has since resided and she has been a wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a Christian. She enjoyed reading, painting, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2002, at Rose Hill Cemetery, with Reverend George Foster of New Hope Temple Church of God in Christ officiating. The family will meet with friends on Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Avenue). Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
