Joan Egan - 12/06/2002 Joan Egan - 12/06/2002 JOAN EGAN IDAHO FALLS, ID - Joan Egan, 59, of Idaho Falls, died December 4, 2002 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born October 7, 1943, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Merritt Wheeler Egan and Betty Irene Lee Egan. She grew up in the Star Valley area, graduating from Star Valley High School. She attended Ricks College for one year. She then moved to Logan, Utah, where she lived for 25 years. She returned to Idaho Falls in 1998. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a visiting teacher, a primary teacher, and had served a full-time mission to South Carolina. She enjoyed doing crafts and painting. She is survived by:Father: Merritt W. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2002, at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Road, Idaho Falls.
