Jinger Rash

Jinger Lynn Rash, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 26, 2017, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family with the help of Brio Home Health and Hospice.

Jinger was born March 16, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Fred J Wright and Alta Marilyn Drewes Wright. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1973.

On June 20, 1986, she married Richard Martin Rash in Idaho Falls. Together they raised three children, Joshua, Alicia and Lee. Jinger and Richard made their home in Idaho Falls.

Jinger enjoyed the outdoors, white water rafting, working in her garden and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jinger is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Richard Rash of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Joshua (Sara) Boelter of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Alicia (David) Oney of Kennewick, WA; son, R. Lee (Rayne) Rash of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Jan (Doug) Fairchild of Castle Rock, CO; brother, Jerry (Kathy) Wright of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Jacki (Dave) Griffith of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jay (Kristi) Wright of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jim (Colleen) Wright of Idaho Falls, ID; and 3 grandchildren with 2 on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue with Bishop Randy Fife of the Boulevard LDS Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior. Burial will be in the Milo Cemetery following the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Jinger Rash Memorial Fund, c/o Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402.
