Jimmy Rodriguez, 55, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 24, 2018. Jimmy was born March 5, 1962, in Menan Idaho, to Manuel Rodriguez and Herlinda Castro Rodriguez. He grew up in Menan and attending schools there. He worked in the potato industry for many years working for Kingston's, Circle Valley, and Idahoan Foods. Jimmy enjoyed fishing and meeting new people. Many people would often see him walking around town. He was a free spirit, you would never see him without a smile on his face. He was a people person, he knew how to make anyone that crossed his path smile. He was loved by many. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Melanie Monroe; son, Jeramie Rodriguez; son, Diego Rodriguez; son, Toni Rodriguez; daughter, Patricia Rodriguez all of Idaho falls; grandchildren, Madison Calhoun, Austin Monroe, Ashley Monroe, Jackson Monroe, Dalton Cleverley, and Gavin Cleverley; brothers, Johnny, Steve, Frank, Jessie, Tommy, Willie, Ralph, Manuel, Daniel, and Ernie; sisters, Lucy, and Elinor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herlinda and Manuel Rodriguez, sisters Dolores, Dorothy, and MaryJane Rodriguez. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, at The Shiloh Foursquare Church, 502 Second Street, Idaho Falls, and will be officiated by Pastor Todd Wood. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., to help with funeral expenses.
