Click Here To View Memorial Video James Edward Winchester, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 15, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Jim was born January 20, 1926, in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada, to Charles Bernard and Martha May Standen Winchester. He grew up and attended schools in Calgary, Alberta. On November 14, 1981, he married Natalie Crabtree in Rancho Bernardo, California. Jim and Natalie made their home in southern California, Florida, and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jim loved his work as an artisan hardwood floor designer and installer for all the sixty years he spent doing it. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed fishing, square dancing, tinkering in his shop. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Natalie Winchester of Idaho Falls, ID; son, James A. Winchester of Valley Center, CA; daughter, Cheryl Lynn (Daniel) Heid of Auburn, WA; stepson, Harold (Ellen) Baldwin of Glendora, CA; stepdaughter, De (Paul) Kniss of Idaho Falls, ID; stepdaughter, Donna (Dennis) Harmon of Deer Park, WA stepdaughter, Debra (Kevin) Shearer-Thomas of Austin, TX; stepson, John (Susan) Baldwin of Ramona, CA; stepdaughter, Diane (Sandy) Rossman of Del Mar, CA; brother-in-law, Frank (Marlene) Crabtree. 24 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren 3 nieces and 6 nephews He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanne Marie Cox; brother, Raymond Winchester; sister, Nora Desjardine; and cousin, Grace Cottrell, of London, England. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, with Dennis Harmon officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Fielding Cemetery.
