James "Jim" Sidney Park, 77, of Hamer, Idaho, passed away April 16, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Jim was born September 28, 1938, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to James Merl Park and Geneva "Pardy" Sessions Park. He grew up and attended schools in the Taylor area and graduated from Shelley High School.
On July 17, 1959, he married Sharon Margaret Williams in Terreton, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 21, 1978. They were blessed with eight children; Debbie, Kathy Jo, Brenda, Brad, Jana, Rusty, Trina and Alma. Jim and Sharon made their home in Hamer, Idaho. Jim was one of the hardest working men around and he took great pride in everything he did. He was a man of many trades including trucking, farming, dairy farming, to name a few. His greatest legacy was dedicating his life to being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and instilling in his children the value of hard work.
After Jim retired, he enjoyed taking care of his beautiful yard and flowers, gardening, and working in his greenhouse. Jim was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We will miss our dad more than words can express, but knowing that he is with mom brings us comfort.
