Jim Dunn

Linel James “Jim” Dunn, 73, of Rigby, passed away April 17, 2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.

Jim was born September 26, 1950, in Yakima, Washington, to George William Dunn and Ida Wanda Meikle Dunn. He grew up and attended schools in Utah.

Jim married Dorothy May Cox in Utah. They were later divorced. Jim made his home in Rigby and worked as a laborer through the years.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, movies, puzzles, video games, and making paper snowflakes.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Taunya (Russell) Campbell of Rigby, ID, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Wanda Elaine Dunn.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, 4023 Ririe Highway in Rigby. The family will visit with friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to graveside services at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
