Jillette Mae Goldsberry, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 9, 2026, at her home. She was under the care of Alliance Home Health and Hospice and Mary Goldsberry.
Jillette was born October 14, 1938, in Helgeland, Minnesota, to Herbert Johnson and Grace Rud Johnson. She grew up and attended schools in Tacoma, Washington and graduated from Lincoln High School.
On May 13, 1958, she married Andrew Eldridge Goldsberry in Salt Lake City, Utah and later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple in November 2006. Jillette and Andrew made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many church callings. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking with the grandchildren, gardening, and attending the temple.
Jillette is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Goldsberry of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Andra Goldsberry-Hardwick of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Frank (Karry) Goldsberry of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter-in-law, Dottie Goldsberry of Stagecoach, NV; son-in-law, Mike Mitchell of Pasco, WA; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Eldridge Goldsberry; parents, Herbert and Grace Johnson; daughter, Betty L. Mitchell; daughter, Cindy A. Goldsberry; daughter, Belinda M. Goldsberry; son, Wayne H. Goldsberry; and son, Andrew L. Goldsberry.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 23, 2026 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior. Burial will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery-Blackfoot at 2:00 p.m.
