JEWEL LAUSCH Click here to view Jewel's Video Tribute IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jewel Lausch, 88, of Idaho Falls, died April 27, 2009, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of a heart attack. She was born December 8, 1920, in Smithfield, Utah, to Edmund M. Baron and Anna Marie Hunt Baron. She attended Osgood Elementary School and graduated from Ammon High School. On Valentine's Day, 1941, she married Robert E. Lausch in Idaho Falls. Together they raised two children. Jewel was a homemaker and mother and worked for many years as a clerk at Skyline IGA and Reed Brother's Dairy. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also involved in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Jewel was an avid gardener and enjoyed yard work. She was an immaculate housekeeper, and was always busy working. She loved to paint, sew, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include: Daughter: Marline (John) Crites, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Robert L. Lausch, Rexburg, ID Brother: Orland Baron, Rigby, ID Brother: Delbert Baron, Blackfoot, ID Brother: Demar Baron, Los Angeles, CA 7 Grandchildren & 11 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, six brothers, and a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Ann Lausch. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at the Idaho Falls LDS Grandview Ward, 1450 Mountain View, with Bishop William Morehead officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday evening from 7:30- 9:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 p.m. at the church. A private burial will be held Saturday morning prior to the funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jewel's name to the Trinity UMC, 237 N. Water Ave., Idaho Falls, ID 83402, with Bell Choir on the memo line of the check. ---------------------------------------------------- Condolences received online: Pat Winborg We were sorry to read of the passing of your Mother.
