Click Here To View Memorial Video Jesus Ortiz Arciniega, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 25, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Jesus was born January 21, 1943, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Trinidad Ortiz Garcia and Elvira Arciniega Hernandez. On November 7, 1965, he married Eva Solano in Mexico. Jesus and Eva made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, for the past 19 years. He came to the United States of America in 1995 to provide a better life for his family. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading, baseball, eating, and telling jokes and riddles. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Eva Ortiz of Idaho Falls; daughter, Rocio Ortiz of Mexico; daughter, Alma Ortiz of Idaho Falls; son, Julio Ortiz of Idaho Falls; son, Erick Ortiz of Mexico; son, Alberto Goday of Montana; son, Marcos Goday of Idaho Falls; son, Christian Goday of Idaho Falls; brothers, Miguel, Ricardo, and Jaime Ortiz; sisters, Estela, Luz Maria, Lourdes, and Pilar Ortiz; 6 grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Concepcion Ortiz. Memorial Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to services.
