JESSIE SPRAGUE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jessie Sprague, 93, of Idaho Falls, died June 20, 2007, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. She was born March 15, 1914, in Eagle Bend, Minnesota, to Alfred Johnson and Harriett Stockel Johnson. She grew up and attended schools in Minnesota. She married Richard Sprague February 3, 1936, in Todd County, Minnesota. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1949. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who especially enjoyed her grandchildren, Brian Sprague and Diane (Butch) Wheeler. Her husband preceded her in death July 17, 1986. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Idaho Falls Henrietta Chapter and was locally recognized for her beautiful flower gardens. Survivors include: Son: Del Sprague, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Shrley Botzet, Carlos, MN Sister: Cora Jean Vollmer, St. Paul, MN Brother: Harold Johnson, Long Prarie, MN Brother: Albert Johnson, St. Cloud, MN 2 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and two sisters, Margaret Sprague and Arvilla Bouche. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Reverend Brenda Sene of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
