Jessica D. Macdonald Byron

Jessica Macdonald Byron, 46, of Ammon, passed away June 16, 2021, at her home. She was under the care of Eden Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.

Jessica was born March 7, 1975, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Victoria Cappelle Macdonald. She grew up and attended schools in Rapid City, South Dakota. Jessica went on to graduate from Central High School in 1993.

Jessica served her country during Desert Storm. She earned the ranking of Sergeant while serving in the US Army and US Air Force.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jessica raised her kids in Utah. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and listening to country music. Jessica was a great mom and loved spending time with her family.

Jessica is survived by her loving children, Jaden Byron Macdonald, Destinie Garza, Jaiden Essig, Jazmine Taylor, Austin Taylor, Allysha Darling, all of Ammon, ID; and Jaden Stephen of Rapid City, SD; mother, Vicki Macdonald of Ammon, ID; sister, Angie Rose; and a grandson, Ashtun Byron.

She was preceded in death by her wife, Brandi Garza; and brother, Paul Byron.

Services will be held at a later date.
