JESS HAYES IDAHO FALLS, ID - Jess Hayes, 96, former Idaho Falls resident, of Surprise, Arizona, died September 20, 2003, at the Hospice of Arizona. He was born November 28, 1906, in Ammon, Idaho to Charles Hayes and Elizabeth Cannell Hayes. He attended schools in the Ammon area. He is the father of Shirlene Hicks of Surprise, Arizona, and three sons, Jesse Earl, James Ralph and Charles Reed Hayes. He worked as a plasterer and Building Contractor. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He moved to Surprise, Arizona four years ago to be near his daughter. Surviving are: Daughter: Shirlene Ricks, Surprise, AZ He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his three sons. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at the Rose Hill Cemetery, 21st and Rollandet, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
