Jesica Lynn Foster

Jesica Lynn Foster, 33, of Idaho Falls, returned to her Father in Heaven on July 1, 2020.

Jesica was born in Rexburg, Idaho, on May 19, 1987, to Daniel Razzo Estrada and Sherri Lynn Estrada.

She grew up and attended schools in Utah where she graduated from Copper Hills High School and went on to graduate with highest honors from Eagle Gate College’s Pharmacy Technician Program.

Jesica was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her greatest joy in life was her son, LaKoda James; he was her miracle as she was told she could not have children.  Jesica was very creative and enjoyed art; she completed an apprenticeship at Spider’s Web and loved creating tattoos and tattooing – which also enabled her to use her amazing artistic talents.  She loved anything to do outdoors, especially fishing, hiking, four-wheeling, and spending time with her family and friends.

She had a love for life which was shown through her smile, infectious laughter, quick wit, compassion, courage, sense of humor, creativity, and above all, her ability to make others feel loved and accepted. Sadly, she was a follower and that led her to some dark places in her life despite the fact that she was kind to everyone and had a heart as big as the great outdoors.

Jesica loved people. She loved to make people laugh, and she loved to laugh. Every day was an adventure for her; not much was off limits if it meant having a great time and being with friends.  These traits fed her need to be the center of attention. You never knew what color her hair would be the next time you saw her. She wore her hats sideways and had a mischievous smile to go with it. She would cross her eyes, wink, and laugh.

Jesica is survived by her son, LaKoda Foster; mother, Sherri Carranza of Idaho Falls, ID; and her brother, Justin Carranza (Shelby) of Quinton, OK; aunt, Sondra Foster; cousin, Dakota Foster; and uncle, Bryan (Karen) Foster.

Jesica is preceded in death by her step-father, James E. Carranza; grandparents, Earl and Valene Foster; step-grandparents, Ernest and Becky Carranza; and cousin, Gavin Foster.

Jesica’s light and beauty will be carried on by her beautiful son. He misses her but will never stop loving her.

No services will be held at this time. We will have a dinner for close family and friends at a later date.
