Jery Schrader

Jery Ann Taylor Schrader, 70, of Ammon, passed away January 14, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Jery was born April 3, 1947, in Afton, Wyoming to George Anders Taylor and Doris VanNoy Roberts Taylor. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On January 2, 1993, she married James Arthur "Jim" Schrader in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jery and Jim made their home in Ammon, Idaho. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, making bread, family history, and she loved her cats. Jery is survived by step-son, Bradley J. (Shannon) Schrader of Idaho Falls, ID, step-son, Brian Schrader of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, JoAnn Mitchell of Idaho Falls, ID, nephew, Troy (Kiyomi) Mitchell of Japan, nephew, Travis (Lynette) Mitchell of Las Vegas, NV, nephew, Shaun (Katie) Mitchell of Idaho Falls, ID, nephew, Shan (Rexanne) Mitchell of Idaho Falls, ID, grandson, Michael (Hollie) Schrader of Idaho Falls, ID, grandson, James (Erin) Schrader of Idaho Falls, ID, grandson, JD (Beth) Likes of Boise, ID, grandson, Bryan (Brianna) Likes of Idaho Falls, ID, granddaughter, Tessa (Ben) Reeves of Gilbert, AZ, grandson, Dillon (Allie) Schrader of Beaverton, OR, granddaughter, Sophia Schrader of Portland OR 7 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, parents, George and Doris Taylor, brother, Burdette Taylor, and brother-in-law, Dennis "Bud" Mitchell. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with Brad Schrader officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery.
