Gerald Ray “Jerry” Wilkinson, 75, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away August 16, 2012, in Idaho Falls. Jerry was born May 26, 1937, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to John Albert Wilkinson and Jeanette Elmina Twitchell Wilkinson. He grew up in the Taylor area and attended Basalt Elementary School. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He was stationed in Culver City, California, while he served in the U. S. Army. He spent the rest of his life in the Idaho Falls area. He married Betty Jane Christensen and they had two children, Scott and Sharla. They were later divorced. On September 3, 1994, he married Jerilee Swanner Hendrickson in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jerry drove bus for the INL for 31 years. He also drove for Wycoff, hauling bricks. In his youth Jerry enjoyed fishing and hunting. In his later years he enjoyed gardening and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. He loved to restore and show Oliver Tractors. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of nearly 18 years, Jerilee, Son, Scott (Lisa) Wilkinson of New Mexico; Daughter, Sharla P. Cunningham of Idaho Falls, ID; Stepson, Eric Hendrickson of Boise, ID; Stepson, Michael Hendrickson of San Francisco, CA; Brother, Gary (Rosella) Wilkinson of Shelley, ID, Brother, Don Lee (Janet) Wilkinson of Shelley, ID, Brother, Paul Dee (Lorna) Wilkinson of Shelley, ID; Twin Brother, Dwight (Colleen) Wilkinson of Idaho Falls, ID; 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
