Jerry was born May 12, 1926, in San Bernardino, California, to Robert Harold McMullin and Mildred Phyllis Weber McMullin. He grew up and attended schools in Ingelwood and graduated from Inglewood High School. He also attended Aviation School in Santa Maria, California.
In his early career he was a crop duster in Arizona, and Central America, and subsequently became a corporate pilot and helicopter pilot.
On April 18, 1975, he married Helen Lindsley in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jerry and Helen made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Jerry worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a construction company.
Jerry served during World War II in the US Navy for three years as an aviation machinist mate. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion. He was an avid gun hobbyist and enthusiast.
Jerry is survived by his brother, Fred McMullin of Parker, CO; sister, Jean Hart of Port Angeles, WA; niece, Mona Marignac of San Mateo, CA; nephew, Ed Hart of Port Angeles, WA; nephew, Daren McMullin of Centennial, CO; nephew, Dale McMullin, of Trophy Club, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Pineview Cemetery in Ashton, Idaho, with Jeff Hawkes officiating.

Military Rites will be performed by the Fremont County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
