Jerry Hunsaker Sr

Jerry Lynn Hunsaker, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 1, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Jerry was born September 18, 1944, in Afton, Wyoming, to Lynn Parsons Hunsaker and Martha Lita Steed Hunsaker. He grew up and attended schools in Afton. On June 12, 1970, he married Judy Ann Lyons in Antioch, California. To this union were born three children, Jerry Jr., Debbie and Anthony. Jerry and Judy made their home in Antioch, where Jerry worked as a steel worker for U.S. Steel. After retirement, they moved to Idaho Falls. He was a member of Ammon Volunteer Fire Department, now retired. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy Hunsaker of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Jerry Hunsaker Jr. of Williston, ND; daughter, Debbie (David) Snyder of Iona, ID; son, Anthony (Whitney) Hunsaker of Shelley, ID, one granddaughter, Lilli Hunsaker. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Rick Hunsaker and a sister, Joan Hunsaker. A gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, Idaho Falls.
