Jeremy Hix

Jeremy Ray Hix, 39, of Irwin, Idaho, passed away September 19, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Jeremy was born June 1, 1979, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Woody Ray Hix and Katherine Moore Poulsen. He grew up and attended grade school in Irwin and high school at Idaho Falls High School.

Jeremy was blessed with two beautiful daughters, who were his pride and joy. Jeremy moved to Colorado in 1998, where he lived for 20 years. He recently moved back to the Idaho Falls area to be closer to family.

He worked as a bartender at many locations including the Ritz Carlton, The Rocks and De Railed. His job was more than a job, it was his passion.

He loved snowboarding and was well known for his skateboarding abilities.

Jeremy is survived by his loving daughters, Hannah and Lily Hix of Avon Colorado; their mother and his soul mate, Abella Frohreich, also of Avon Colorado; parents, Guy and Katherine Poulsen of Irwin, Idaho; sister, Angela (Willie) Woods of Idaho Falls; brother, Cory (Sarah) Hix of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sister, Holly (Mason) Gaches of Idaho Falls; sister, Jennifer Poulsen of Idaho Falls; grandmothers, Ruth Moss of Iona, Idaho, and Nellie Poulsen of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Woody Hix, step-father, Vince Beaucond, grandmother, Irene Hix, grandfathers, Clinton Moore, Jim Hix, and Guy Poulsen Sr., and brother, Guy Poulsen IV.
